A Missions Trip In Your Own Backyard
Do you have the desire to see your walk with God take the next step and serve within a camp setting?
Through our Summer Mission Service and Leadership Training Program, you’ll get a meaningful glimpse into what it takes to make one week of camp a success. During your 5-8 week stay at Camp Gideon, you’ll be mentored by two of our best leasers—leaders who are passionate about pouring into you spiritually, emotionally, and practically.
At Camp Gideon, we believe in living out our mission: Life, Community, and Culture. Our Summer Mission Program is designed to give mature high-school students the opportunity to experience God like never before—by serving others, stepping into leadership, and growing in faith. It’s a mission trip... right in your own backyard.
Everyday camp life becomes a training ground for developing leadership, building deep, Christ-centered relationships, and cultivating a heart of service. Whether you're leading a game, washing dishes, or praying with a camper, each moment becomes part of a bigger story—your story of growth in your Christian walk.
Please take time to pray diligently about whether God is calling you to apply for this summer’s mission. While it is incredibly rewarding, it is also a challenging program that requires hard work, humility, and a servant’s heart. If you sense that God may be nudging you to join, don’t delay--space is limited, and we encourage you to apply with purpose and prayerful consideration.
