As a member of our summer staff team and a representative of the Lord Jesus Christ, you are expected to demonstrate excellence in areas of integrity, honesty, morality and attitude.
The following regulations are in effect 24/7. All participants must strictly adhere to them and are subject to dismissal without pay for failure to comply. The consequence for breaking the following three regulations is termination of your contract and to be sent home:

Summer staff overview
The purpose of the Camp Gideon Summer Staff Team is to lay the foundation for an incredible summer camp experience for each and every camper.
Each staff member will have one main area of responsibility and be expected to help in additional areas, as needed, as well as participate in all scheduled camp activities.
Each Summer Staff member is- first of all- a servant, as well as a leader and representative of the Camp.
6 1/2 weeks from June 12th-July 27th. For the majority of our time together, "time off" begins Friday evenings at 7pm and lasts until Sunday afternoon at 6pm*, at which time you will return to begin preparations for the next week of camp.
$100 per week plus a one-time $50 camp store credit, food & lodging.
Must be at least 17 years of age and available to serve the entirety of the summer camp program (absolutely NO leaving/returning to the site outside of allotted time off).
A lakeside cabin with twin-sized bunks, a small refrigerator, microwave and water cooler.

1.) E-mail a photo of yourself to email@example.com. It should be a head-and-shoulders shot of you only, with clear facial features. This photo will be posted to our webpage, and is due no later than May 15th.

Packing LIst + dress code
-Pillow + sleeping bag (or twin-sized fitted sheet and blanket)
-Change of clothes for 5 days at a time (see dress policy), including appropriate pajamas
-Bug spray + sunscreen
-Beach towel, modest swimsuit, and flip-flops/sandals for the beach area
-Optional: flashlight, snacks in sealable containers and additional money for the camp store (you will be given a $50 stipend for the entire 6.5 weeks).
Dress Policy: Modesty is key. Short shorts, extremely tight or revealing garments are not allowed. Girls must wear a one-piece bathing suit or a “tankini” that full covers the midriff area. Bathing suits that do not meet these guidelines must be covered by a t-shirt. For your safety, shoes must be worn at camp at all times. Make sure you bring some clothes you don’t mind getting dirty– this is camp!
