Thank you for volunteering to be a hostess at our upcoming Ladies Tea Benefit, Saturday February the 11th.
Here you'll find tips, tools and answers to frequently asked questions to help make your experience a fun and rewarding one.
4 Simple Steps to Hosting
1. Invite your friends
Invite friends, family, and acquaintances to join you for this event! There will be 7 guest spots at your table. Use e-mail, Facebook and other social media- or contact us and we'll mail you invites to share!
Tickets are $25, and must be purchased in advance.
Guest can purchase tickets online at www.campgideon.com/ladiestea, or you will need to collect their cash/check in advance (due the morning of the event, prior to guests' arrival).
You may also choose to cover the cost of your table at $200.
As a hostess, you are responsible for filling each seat at your table.
Your final table list should be e-mailed to us a minimum of 48 hours prior to the event. Please include table guests' first and last names and whether they paid online or you will be bringing their check.
2. Plan Your decor
Choose a theme- color, seasonal, etc. and gather some items. Visit websites such as Pinterest for some design inspiration...We'll provide the tablecloth- your blank canvas for creating a sensational setting!
Bring a new or gently used purse/handbag/tote as the centerpiece of your table that will be auctioned off during the event.*
3. Set the Table
Arrive between 9-9:30am to set your table prior to guests' arrival.
Disposable tableware will be provided. Hostesses should provide the following:
**Tea pots no longer required! We will have a tea station with hot water, assorted tea bags, sweeteners, cream, cold teas, and more!
4. Serve your guests and have fun
...And feel the satisfaction of knowing you are helping to impact lives!
Will I need to provide my own tablecloth?
We will provide a white tablecloth for each table, however you may wish to bring an additional, colored tablecloth to fit with your chosen table theme! (Tables are round.)
How many people will be seated at my table? You will need to invite 7 guests to join you for this event, for a total of 8 settings at your table.
Where do I / my guests purchase tickets?
**Please be sure to REGISTER YOURSELF, even if you will be paying via check at the event. This will mark your seat as reserved in order to avoid overbooking your table.**
