Welcome to the Camp Store
One of campers' favorite parts of camp is the camp store! Whether it's an afternoon treat or some cool Camp Gideon gear they're after, campers love the thrill of independence.
As a parent, you may have questions about the camp store. Here are a few of the most frequent questions we receive, along with our answers:
When do campers get to visit the camp store? Campers can visit the camp store daily during their swim/free/cabin time.
What kind of items do you have in the camp store? We have everything from candy to snacks (including healthier choices) and
sno-cones/ice cream, and camp products such as t-shirts, wristbands, drawstring bags and sunglasses.
How do I deposit money to my child's account? You can deposit money (cash, card or check) at registration, each morning at carpool (day camps only), or here online (see links below). All money should be checked in upon arrival. A card is created with your child's name and balance, which is marked off as it is spent. The card system prevents lost or theft. The store does not accept cash from campers during open hours-- money must be deposited in advance.
Can I limit my child's spending per day/what they purchase? Yes. Please communicate all restrictions to the registrar or send an e-mail to email@example.com
Can I check my child's balance? You may check your child's balance by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
